If you have truly turned to Jesus in faith and repentance, you have made a clean start!  Welcome to your new life!  Remember, the Bible is clear, it is not what we do that saves us, we are saved by grace (an undeserved gift) through faith (total trust and reliance) in Christ.  We believe he is the son of God who lived a sinless life of perfect obedience and died on a cross for our sins, who was raised from the dead, who now lives in heaven, and who will come back to earth one day to collect all of those who truly belong to him!  Talk about an event to get excited about!

The Christian life is not an easy one.  Expect trials.  Expect to be tempted to do what you know you shoudn’t.  But also expect God to give you all the strength you need to overcome those hurdles and to remain faithful.  Lean on him, because God is big enough to handle anything the world can throw at you, so don’t lose heart!

This race was never meant to be run alone.  That is why God gave us the church.  It is there that we can grow in our understanding of how to live this new life.  There we can learn from teachers (think of them as coaches and personal trainers) he has sent.  There we can use the skills and gifts he has given us to serve others. There as a family we can worship Him and there we can be equipped to take the message of this new life out into the world that desperately needs it.  Seek out a local church that teaches the Bible faithfully and claims Jesus as it’s leader.  And remember, just as we workout physically to stay in shape, we must workout spiritually as well, by taking time daily to talk to God (praying) and to read his Training Manual (the Bible).  Finally, tell others about the new life you’ve found and how they too can truly finish well!

Still have questions?  Please write to us! (send an email to Finish Well Endurance)

If you have decided to accept God’s offer and are comfortable sharing that decision with us, we would love to hear from you!

“Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.  Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.”
